Laura & Andrew
The big day finally arrived for Laura & Andrew at The Barn at Willerby, and what an incredible day it turned out to be.
The morning began exactly as it should, with both bride and groom getting ready on site surrounded by their closest family and friends. Over in The Hideaways, Laura and her bridal party were pampered by the brilliant Jodie Louise and Ellie Burdall, while Andrew and his groomsmen gathered in The Granary, trying their best to hide the nerves.
After two emotional dress reveals, it was time for Laura to make her way to the beautifully styled ceremony room, decorated by The Barn at Willerby alongside Oh Pretty Rae. Waiting patiently at the front was Andrew, ready to see both his little girls and his stunning bride walk down the aisle.
"I would recommend him to anyone! Our wedding photos are just perfect!"
Following a heartfelt ceremony, everyone headed outside onto the patio where Baba Ganouah kept guests well fed with incredible canapés while Joey Collins provided the perfect live soundtrack. With everyone relaxed and enjoying themselves, we flew through the family photographs before letting everyone get back to celebrating.
The speeches brought plenty of laughter along with a few emotional moments before we escaped for some relaxed portraits around the venue. After five years together, it was obvious these two still know exactly how to make each other laugh, which always makes for the best photographs.
As evening arrived, Matty Whitaker kicked off the first dance before filling the dance floor for an unforgettable night. It was an absolute pleasure to capture such an amazing wedding from beginning to end. Thank you so much for having us, Mr & Mrs Bagshaw.

The Barn at Willerby is one of my favourite East Yorkshire wedding venues because everything has been designed with weddings in mind. From the luxurious Hideaways and stylish ceremony room to the beautiful reception space, every part of the venue photographs beautifully throughout the day.
There's a relaxed atmosphere from the moment you arrive, allowing couples to enjoy every second without feeling rushed. With everything taking place in one location, guests can settle in, enjoy the celebrations and I can focus on capturing genuine moments as they naturally unfold.
The grounds offer plenty of variety for portraits, with landscaped gardens, countryside views and stylish outdoor spaces all within a few minutes' walk. Whether it's golden hour or a quick ten-minute escape after the speeches, there are endless opportunities for relaxed, natural photographs.

The venue has plenty of beautiful locations, including the landscaped gardens, countryside views and outdoor spaces. We can also make the most of golden hour for some stunning natural portraits without keeping you away from your guests for long.
Do you photograph bridal preparations at The Hideaways?
Absolutely. The Hideaways are bright, spacious and perfect for capturing all the excitement of the morning, from hair and makeup through to those emotional dress reveal moments before the ceremony.
Can you stay for the evening party?
Of course. Most couples book full-day coverage, allowing me to capture everything from the morning preparations right through to the first dance and the packed dance floor afterwards.
Do we receive black & white images?
Yes. Every edited image is delivered in full colour and again in black & white at no extra cost, giving you two beautiful versions of every photograph.
